Professor Stanga specialises in vitreo-retinal disorders that require either medical or surgical treatment, such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy and maculopathy, retinal vein occlusions, macular hole, retinal detachment and ocular trauma.
Professor Stanga holds an NHS post as Consultant Ophthalmologist and Professor in Ophthalmology with a special interest in Vitreoretinal Surgery for the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, Central Manchester & Manchester Children's University Hospitals NHS Trust, Manchester, UK.
Professor Stanga accepts patients both from the UK and abroad. You do not need a referral to see Professor Stanga unless required by your insurance company.
